School and Adult Field-trips
FIELD TRIPS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
The Crocker House Museum offers field-trips for people of all ages.
For children we offer a tour that focuses on how life was in Mount Clemens during the 1870s - 80s and encourage children to compare their modern lives to that of the Crocker family. They will also view a short film about the Mineral Bath Era in Mount Clemens.
During the months of November and December the Crocker House is decorated for Christmas. When available, the tour includes Mrs. Parr playing carols in the formal parlor on the pump organ. Children may also view a short, silent Christmas film from the-turn-of-the-century.
Tours are only $2 per child and $4 per adult.
Teachers also receive a "Teachers Packet" which includes follow-up visit activities for the class-room.
Etiquette Classes are also available for booking. These classes are suitable for children of the ages 5 - 13 and focus on basic every-day etiquette and dining skills. We offer this class for the public as a special scheduled event program, but are able to take private bookings for groups of 15 - 30 students. Etiquette classes are taught by a certified etiquette instructor and cost $15 per student.
For adults we offer tours of this lovely Victorian home with a focus on the Mineral Bath Era of Mount Clemens. Tours cost only $4 per adult.
We also offer Lunch & Tours for adults. $22 per person for a tour of the museum and a lunch that includes a sandwich, potato salad, dessert and choice of tea or lemonade. If booked during nice weather the lunch may be served outside in our beautiful garden.
